Agence Tunis-Afrique Presse has lifted the veil on the list of nominees for its 14th annual sports referendum. Five categories are involved to reward the most successful Tunisian athletes of the year, following a vote involving sports professionals and the general public.
This edition recognizes the best Tunisian performances recorded on the national, continental and international stages over the past year.
The event, supervised by the agency’s Youth and Sports Department, mobilizes all Tunisian sports journalists, technical directors of national federations as well as coaches of professional Ligue 1 clubs. In parallel with the official ballot, a vote open to Internet users is also organized on the TAP website, reinforcing the participatory dimension of the referendum.
In the category of best Tunisian footballer, the final selection brings together Ali Abdi, Aymen Dahmène, Firas Chaouat, Montassar Talbi and Hannibal Mejbri, all authors of remarkable seasons with their clubs and in the selection.

The title of best sportsman competes with Ahmed Jaouadi in swimming, Khalil Jendoubi in taekwondo, Farès Ferjani in fencing, Khaled Bougriba in bowls and Rafed Mabrouk in wushu kung-fu, illustrating the richness of the disciplines represented.
