The Tunisian star shines in Gainesville
Against the University of Virginia, the Florida team won 191.5 to 159.5, led by an irresistible Jaouadi. In the 1,000-yard freestyle, he won in 8:44.95, the best NCAA time of the season. He followed up with another success in the NL 500 yards (4:14.94), second best national performance.
Even in the 200 yards NL, where he finished second, the Tunisian champion set a new personal best in 1:35.79.
Already double 2025 world champion in Singapore (800 m and 1500 m freestyle), Ahmed Jaouadi confirms his consistency and his ability to adapt to the American circuit.
These performances reinforce his status as a great hope in Tunisian swimming, less than a year from the major international events to come.
