The investigating judge of the Tunis court of first instance issued, yesterday Tuesday, another warrant for Wadii Jary, president of the Tunisian Football Federation.
According to Mosaic FM, this mandate was issued for accusations relating to the “embezzlement of public funds made available to it, in relation to characteristics of its job”.
The president of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) will be referred to the accusation chamber after the completion of the investigation relating to the complaint against him.
Wadii Jary was arrested on the night of October 25 to 26 for suspicion of financial corruption and translated before the investigating judge, Thursday October 26, 2023.
A warrant had been issued against him against the backdrop of corruption suspicions concerning the signing of a contract between the FTF and a former technical director.
Recall that Jary had been auditioned for the first time in El Gorjani on August 30, 2023. He had been maintained in a state of freedom.
