The Asia Olympic Council (OCA) officially appointed this Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Saudi Arabia for the organization of the Asian winter games of 2029.
Saudi Arabia was designated on Tuesday to host the 2029 winter Asian games in Neom, a future futuristic megapol under construction in the northwest of the kingdom, announced the Olympic Asian Council (OCA).
“The deserts and mountains of Saudi Arabia will soon be a playground for winter sports,” the OCA said in a statement reporting the decision taken during its general meeting in Phnom Penh (Cambodia).
