The Tunisian Football Federation decided, during its meeting held this Monday, February 10, 2025, to appoint Sami Trabelsi as a new coach of the Tunisian football national team.
The latter concluded a final agreement with Hamadi Daou to occupy the position of national coach.
In a statement published on his official social networks page, the Federation said that the national coach will meet coach Mohamed Sahli on his return to the country next Wednesday to also discuss a national coach position.
The Federation added that Sami Trabelsi has decided to surround himself with Aymen Jdidi and Wassim Maaouia for development and physical preparation, Hichem Jaziri as guards’ coach, as well as Helmi Kachou and Walid Ben Tamansour for technical analysis.
The complete composition of the technical staff of the selection will be announced at a press conference that will give the national coach Sami Trabelsi and the sports director Zied Jaziri on Friday February 14, 2025, from 11:00 am, in the conference room of the national technical management.
It should be recalled that Sami Trabelsi had already managed the Carthage Eagles between 2011 and 2013, winning with them the African Cup of Nations of local players in 2011.
