This stage, composed mainly of containers, has become the subject of everyone’s conversation in Tunisia. Some have confirmed that it will be installed in Sfax, while others have indicated that it would be an additional stadium in Tunis to host the matches of the African club, the sports hope of Tunis and the national team.
Even the Minister of Youth and Sports, Kamal Deguich, had announced, before the start of the World Cup, the possibility of installing this stadium in Tunisia.
The Supreme Qatari Committee of Projects and The Heritage has ended the controversy on the fate of the stadium “974”, announcing that “its containers and its structure will be reused to create installations overlooking the seafront, which will benefit the community”.
