Ooredoo Padel-Cup by Samsung, success of an exciting event and fence

The event will have been great. The fence will have been thrilling. That is to say how the Ooredoo Padel-Cup by Samsung tournament was a success in all levels.

The tournament ended, Sunday, December 4, 2023 in the most formidable way to the Arena Gym Soukra for an edition that will have met with remarkable success, bringing together players from various categories competing for the prestigious title and the largest “prize pool” never seen in the history of the Padel competition in Tunisia, of a value reaching 20,000 dinars.

The event ended with a award ceremony, in the presence of Mr. Mansoor Rashid al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, and Mrs. Salma Mouelhi, president of the Tunisian Tennis Federation. Tennis celebrities such as Malek Jaziri, also honored the event with their presence.

The evening shone with the champions crown of all categories, including the winners of the professional category P1000, Selim Aroui and Mehdi Elloumi, who won the coronation accompanied by an important reward of 3,500 dinars.

In parallel, many other prices have been awarded to the winners including Dorra Chemli and Aida Fehri (see video)

On the sidelines of the event, Mansoor Rashid al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, expressed himself with enthusiasm, declaring: “We are proud to see this level of play and passion for the closing of this first edition of Ooredoo Padel-Cup by Samsung. Through this tournament, we have managed to raise awareness of a lot of Tunisians of this modern sport and to involve a large number of competitors among enthusiasts, offering them the opportunity to earn additional points for the national championship. ”

Salma Mouelhi, president of the Tunisian Tennis Federation, insisted, for its part, to underline the importance of welcoming competitions like this. “The success of this edition highlights the growing importance of the Padel, and we are delighted to see its growing popularity in Tunisia. We thank Ooredoo and all its partners for this great initiative ”.

This edition of Ooredoo Padel-Cup by Samsung not only celebrated sports excellence but also served as a platform to raise public awareness of the importance of this sport.
