Ons Jabeur qualified in the second round of the WTA500 Eastbourne Gazon tournament in Great Britain after his victory over the Italian Jasmine Paolini.
The Tunisian, 6th in the world, who entered her in the running, today beat the Italian Jasmine Paolini, 42nd in the WTA ranking, in two sets (6-3, 6-2).
In the second round, Ons Jabeur will be opposed to another Italian, Camila Giorgi, ranked 67th in the world and who beat the British Heather Watson in two sets (6-3, 6-4) in the first round.
