After a very disappointing entry, Ons Jabeur is now obliged to redeem herself if she wants to hope to qualify in the semi-finals of the Masters 2023. That night, she has an appointment with the Czech Marketa Vondrousova in a remake of the Wimbledon final.

After being swept by the American Coco Gauff, the Tunisian Ons Jabeur has no right to make mistakes if she wants to hope to go to the semi-finals of the WTA Finals which take place in Cancun in Mexico.

This night she faces an old acquaintance in the person of Marketa Vondrousova, the same one who beat her last July in the Wimbledon final.

An opportunity for Ons Jabeur to take revenge but above all to keep the course for a possible qualification in half even if it will not be easy with two players in great shape, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, who compete on their side, this evening.

For Ons Jabeur, it will therefore be a question of beating the Czech and erasing the affront of the first match when she bowed in two sets against Gauff (6-0, 6-1).

Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova will compete for the eighth time of their career with an advantage for the Czech, which leads 4-3, but which especially won its last three duels against Tunisian in 2023, in Melbourne, Indian Wells and in the Wimbledon final.

The meeting should start on the night of Wednesday 1st to Thursday November 2 from 02:30 and will be broadcast on Beinsports Fr 3 and Dazn 2 Spain.

In addition, last night, the American Jessica Pegula dominated the world N.1 Bélarusse Aryna Sabalenka (6-4, 6-3) in the second match of the group phase and thus qualified for the semi-finals before her last group match.

In the other Elena Rybakina meeting took over Maria Sakkari in three sets.
