Make way for the Wimbledon semi-final with a dream duel that will oppose the Tunisian Ons Jabeur (6th) with Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, world n ° 2.

Ons Jabeur does not leave favorite in front of the world n ° 2, especially since she beat Belarusian only once in four duels, but like her match against Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinals, the Tunisian is able to release the big game today from 3:00 p.m.

A revenge to take

Her victory against Rybakina (6-7, 6-4 and 6-1), showed that the Tunisian became more determined and better prepared as she indicated, yesterday on the sidelines of her quarter-final by evoking her semi-final against Sabalenka.

“I will not change my style of play much compared to a girl who strikes very hard. It will be a very difficult match. But it will be similar to that of today. She is very emotional, more than Elena, on the court and I do not know if it is a good or a bad thing. We’ll see. I will prepare and take my revenge two years ago (she had been eliminated by Sabalenka in the semi-finals) ”.

Sabalenka leads 3-1

It remains to deny the statistics, which remain in favor of the Belarusian. In four oppositions, Ons Jabeur won once. It was in 2020, in the 3rd round of Roland Garros.

Aryna Sabalenka, on the other hand, took over three times, in 2021 at the Abu Dhabi Open, then in the quarter -final of Wimbledon; and in 2022 at the Masters of Fort Worth.

Ons Jabeur did not tremble!

Recall that let’s Jabeur started this Wimbledon by beating, during the 1st round, the Polish Magdalena Frech, 68th in the WTA ranking in two sets (6-3, 6-3). She then beat the Chinese Zhuoxuan Bai (192nd) in two sets (6-1, 6-1) in the second round. Then, it has difficulty eliminated in the third round the Canadian Bianca Vanessa Andreescu (50th in the world) in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 6-4).

In the round of 16, she only bought the Czech Petra Kvitova (9th in the world) which she beat in two sets (6-0, 6-3) before eliminating the Kazakhe Elena Rybakina (3rd) in three sets (6-7, 6-4 and 6-1).
