Ons Jabeur is now competing in his quarter -final of the Roland Garros tournament. She faces the American Coco Gauff, who is one of the big favorites.

Ons Jabeur, 9th in the world, faces, this Tuesday, June 4, the American Cori Gauff, 3rd WTA as part of the quarter -finals of the Roland Garros tournament. A major challenge for the Tunisian, who will have to take out the big game against the young player, only 20 years old.

The two players have already faced each other six times in the past, the American leading 4-2 during these six confrontations.

In 2020, Coco Gauff beat Ons Jabeur twice, the first time in the quarterfinals of the Lexington Tournament and a second time in the 1st round of the Rome Tournament.

In 2021, Ons Jabeur won in Charleston in the quarterfinals, but Coco Gauff had taken his revenge to Roland Garros by eliminating the Tunisian at the stage of the knockout stages.

In 2022, Ons Jabeur won in the semi-finals of the Berlin tournament. Their last confrontation took place on October 30, 2023 during the WTA Finals of Cancun when Gauff had laminated Ons Jabeur in two sets (6-0, 6-1).

Today’s confrontation will not be easy for the Tunisian who faces a player whose trajectory has continued to evolve for weeks. But ons Jabeur knows that a victory and a qualification in the semi-finals would put her back in the saddle for the rest of the season.

The match is set at 10:00 am on the court Philippe-Chatrier and will be broadcast on beIN Sports AR 7, France 4, Eurosport 1 Spain, Eurosport 1 Germany.
