Opposed to the German tenniswoman, Tamara Korpatsch, classified 107th in the WTA ranking, Ons Jabeur won fairly easily to climb into the quarter -finals of the Ningbo tournament, in China.
The Tunisian champion won the match in two sets, 6-3 and 6-2, thanks in particular to a quality service.
In the quarters, Ons will face the 39 -year -old Russian, Vera Zvonareva, who got rid of Claura Tauson, after the latter’s package in the second set. The first round was won by Russian.
The meeting will be played on Thursday 28 Sepmtebre 2023, at 10:30 am Tunisian time.
