The National Commission for Appeals decided this Sunday, April 28, 2024, to definitively reject the appeal presented by Wasif Jelail against the decision of the Electoral Commission to withdraw its list of the race for the presidency of the FTF.
The commission also decided to return the lists of candidates Zied Tlemsseni and Jalal Tkaia to the electoral commission to re -examine the legitimacy of the two lists.
It should be noted that the Committee on appeal to the FTF received yesterday, Saturday, two files on the Wasif Jelail part, including the first one an appeal against the decision of the electoral commission to reject its list, while the second file includes appeals against the lists of the two other candidates after the decision to accept their candidacy by the independent electoral commission.
During his meeting, held this Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the independent electoral commission of the FTF validated the lists of Jalel Tekaya and Zied Tlemçani. She rejected the list of Wassef Jelil, current president of the acting FTF because she does not comply with the regulations.
The list of Jalel Tekaya, former member of the FTF, is made up of Mohamed Hichem Dhib, Chafik Jarraya, Bilel Jemi, Mohamed Sofiene Salem, Zied Hamdi, Chamseddine Euhu, Hanene Sellini, Nihed Ben Hamida, Slim Khedher, Mohamed Hassani and Dhafer Lassoued.
The list of Zied Tlemçani, former footballer, is made up of Bilel Foudhaili, Fatma Fourati, Lotfi Khemiri, Khaled Badra, Faouzi Rouissi, Amir Hizem, Mahmoud Abboud, Youssef Mhamdi, Mohamed Habib Mekdad, Habib Chairi and Lazhar Ben Hariz.
