The 11th day of the Ligue 1 championship ends this Thursday with an expected poster at the Radès stadium between Esperance Sportive de Tunis and Club Athletic Bizertin. Kick-off will be at 2:30 p.m.
Having just qualified for the group stage of the African Champions League, Esperance returns to the championship with the clear objective of continuing its positive series. Third in the standings with 21 points and a match in hand, the blood and gold team can, in the event of victory, come back one step behind the leading duo, Club Africain and Stade Tunisien (25 points each).
During the previous day, Maher Kanzari’s men were held in check by ES Zarzis (0-0), in a meeting where offensive efficiency was lacking. Back in Radès, the Esperantists are counting on the support of their public to restart the machine against an opponent whom they approach with caution but ambition.
Opposite, the Bizertin Athletic Club (9th, 12 points) arrives in Radès with the desire to erase the poor performance suffered against Stade Tunisien (0-2). The northern team, still fragile defensively, will have to show more rigor to hope to resist the pressure from Esperance.
