The National Professional Football League proceeded today, Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Football Federation at the calendar of the 2023-2024 season.
Following the FTF’s decision to opt for a Ligue 1 to two pools, the Ligue 1 championship for the 2023-2024 season will be made up of two groups of seven teams each.
Group A is made up of the Etoile du Sahel, US Ben Guerdane, Olympique de Béja, Tunisian stadium, AS Soliman, and Egs Gafsa.
Group B will be made up of hope, US Monastir, Sfaxian CS, US Tataouine, CA Bizertin, ES Métlaoui and AS Marsa.
ESS-CA in the 4th day
In the group A the outgoing and favorite champion in the title, namely the Etoile du Sahel, will start the competition on the move against the O. Béja. Ditto for the African club which will start with a trip to Ben Guerdane.
The Clasico between the two favorites will take place in the 4th day in Sousse for the first leg and on the 11th day in Rades for the return match.
CSS-Est at the 5th day
In group B, Esperance will start against neo-Promu, AS Marsa while the CSS-Est Clasico will take place during the 5th and 12th Days.
The shocks between the CSS and the US Monastir will take place during the 7th and 14th days while those between the East and the USMO are planned during the 6th and 13th days.
The kick -off of the Ligue 1 championship will be given on August 19.
