It’s time to lower the curtain with the 14th and last day of the play-off. While the title of champion has already been awarded, the interest will focus on the last two qualifying places in African competition. Three teams are in the running …

The Monastirian US, Hope ST and the African Club, are now competing for the last two qualifying places in the Champions League and in the Confederation Cup on the occasion of the 14th and last day.

The three first claim to be a place in the Champions League. The Monastiians (25 points), who receive the Sfaxian CS, are well placed to tear their ticket.

They just have to win against Sfaxian clubists. Any other result could deprive them of this competition insofar as Hope ST (25 points) and the African Club (24 points) are waiting for a misstep of the Blues.

Because if the Usémists do not win today, they could even be deprived of African competition at all!

The East who hopes for a faux-pas de monastiriens is guaranteed to go to the Confederation Cup provided that he went to Tataouine against the weakest team of this play-off. Any other result could deprive African “blood and gold”.

Finally, the African club is the least well -off team. He will have to win today against US Ben Guerdane hoping that the USMO or East is hung.

So much for the ultimate challenge of the competition while in Sousse, the Etoile du Sahel will celebrate its title of champion of Tunisia by receiving Olympique de Béja, the winner of the Cup.
