Ligue 1-12th J. Play-Off: ESS-CA, The title match!

After the Truce reserved for the national selection, Ligue 1 resumes its rights and begins its last straight line with the last three days that will be played in a week. The highlight of the recovery will take place today with ESS-CAS and EST-CSS, two determining clasicos to find out the next destination of the trophy.

The recovery will be with the 12th day which offers us a choice board with two clasicos. But the shock of the day will undoubtedly be the opposition between the Etoile du Sahel, leader of the competition and its runner-up, the African club, which may not be expected in this position.

The two teams really animated the play-off, this year (in the company of the Monastirian US) and even if the Stars are closer to the title, the clubists did not deserve and the whole thing only held for this shock to take place between two coleaders, the clubists having, in passing of 4 points during their last two outings against the UST and the USMO.

Ditto for the ESS which was satisfied with a draw at home against Hope. All that to say that the pressure has become such on the players and the stake so great that a surprise would not be surprising.

The legs in Sousse, the head in Rades!

With its 4 points ahead of the CA, the ESS could be satisfied with a draw and keep its competitors at a good distance. The defeat is prohibited because the Stars would see the clubists return to a point when a victory could see the sacred Star on Saturday in the event that the CSS is not beating.

Be that as it may be the ESS is now the only team that has its destiny in their hands because even in the event of the CA’s victory on Saturday in Sousse, the clubists will not be leaders and will have a derby to negotiate three days more. All that to say that it would take a miracle for the Stars not sacred champions.

For the CA (23 pts), the issue is also 2nd place and a victory in Sousse could give it wings before facing the East (21 pts). Because this 2nd place will be very disputed with a derby looming on the horizon.

USMO on the lookout

Everything will also depend on the clasico between a hope not yet at the top since the return of Mouine Chaabani at the helm, but more rigorous and a Sfaxian CS which mixes mediocre and bad. From there whether the Sfaxian clubists take out the big game, there is a persistent doubt. Their last outing in Rades against the OB was most disappointing (0-2 defeat) in terms of the game.

But in all this hubbub, another match was also of its importance. This is USMO-USBG. The workers returned to third place in favor of their success yesterday, against US Ben Guerdane. The other match of this 12th day was VVU Olympique de Béja going to win in Tataouine on the score of 2-1.
