The 10th day of the Ligue 1 championship ends this Wednesday with three expected confrontations, involving clubs involved in African competitions: Esperance de Tunis, Stade Tunisien and Étoile du Sahel. These meetings constitute a final rehearsal before their trips for the return leg of the second continental round.

A tense shock in Zarzis

Esperance Sportive de Tunis travels to Zarzis to face local Esperance in a duel that promises electricity. Third with 20 points, Maher Kanzari’s team is aiming for the top of the standings, while taking care of its staff before facing Rahimo FC in Africa.

Facing it, ES Zarzis (5th, 16 pts) is going through a delicate period after three losses in four matches, but is counting on the support of its public to revive its momentum.

Stade Tunisien put to the test of CAB

At the same time, Stade Tunisien challenges Club Athletic Bizertin at the Bir Bouregba stadium. Second with 21 points, the Bardo team is aiming for first place held by the African Club.

But CAB (9th, 12 pts), irregular since the start of the season, intends to return to victory.

Étoile du Sahel under pressure before Nairobi

In Sousse, Étoile Sportive du Sahel will try to regain confidence against Olympique de Béja, bottom of the championship. With only 9 points in nine matches, Mohamed Ali Nafkha’s men no longer have room for error before their continental meeting against Nairobi United. Opposite, Béja (5 pts) is hoping for a start to leave the relegation zone.
