The African Club welcomes US Monastirienne to the Hamadi Agrebi stadium in Radès this Tuesday for the clash of the 10th day of Ligue 1. Between club ambition and the expected reaction of the Monastirians, the meeting promises to be tense.
Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Hamadi Agrebi Stadium. The meeting pits two teams from the top of the table against each other: Club Africain, third with 19 points, and US Monastirienne, fourth with 17 points.
The Rouge et Blanc are aiming for success to get closer to the leading duo, made up of Stade Tunisien (21 points) and Esperance de Tunis (20 points). Faouzi Benzarti’s protégés took advantage of the international break to play three friendly matches, intended to maintain the rhythm and strengthen the cohesion of the group.
US Monastirienne in search of rebound
On the Monastrian side, the trip to Radès takes place in a difficult context. The team is coming off a heavy defeat at home (0-3) against JS Kabylie in the Champions League, a setback which precipitated the departure of coach Montassar Louhichi. Tarek Jarraya was appointed to try to revive a morally affected but still ambitious group.
