The French striker Karim Benzema, at the end of the contract with Real Madrid, signed up for three seasons with Al-Ittihad (Div.1 Saudi football).

The former French international (97 selections, 37 goals) opted for an end of career in the “Saudi pro League” supported by the Saudi sovereign fund (FIS).
In recent days, a 200 million euros contract for two seasons had been mentioned by the Spanish press. The Frenchman finally signed for three years.
