The head of state Kais Saied moved this Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the El-Menzah stadium in Tunis where he made an inspection visit to the current work.
According to the Presidency of the Republic, Kais Saied was entitled to a presentation of the progress of the work in this stadium, accompanied by the Minister of Sports and Youth Kamel Deguiche.
The El-Menzah stadium will be ready in November 2024, announced Kamel Deguiche thereby denying rumors that the work is stopped.
He said that his department had to face administrative constraints, especially as the project is managed by the Ministry of Equipment and that of Youth and Sports, but that they were overcome.
The Minister stressed that the work is progressing at a satisfactory pace and that the El-Menzah stadium will be operational from November 2024.
