FTF elections: Maher Ben Aissa’s application accepted, the other two pending

The independent body for the elections of the Tunisian Football Federation announced that it had accepted the candidacy of Maher Ben Aissa while those of Jalel Tekaya and Wissem Letaief remain unanswered.

The independent body for the elections of the Tunisian Football Federation accepted Maher Ben Aissa’s candidacy as president of the next federal office, the FTF said in a statement published this Monday, February 19, 2024.

The list of the former president of the Marsa sporting future, Maher Ben Aissa notably includes Ali Lurimi, Fateh Alouini, Hedi Lahouar and Nejib Ghomidh.

The examination of the other two applications, that of Jalel Tekaya and Wissem Letaief, was postponed by 24 hours. This period was granted to them in order to supplement their files knowing that the two lists have submitted files in which the Bulletins No. 3 lacks several candidates.

The list of former federal member Jalel Tekaya is made up of Mohamed Jlil, Moez Mestiri, Bilel El Jemi, Dhafer Lassoued, Khaled Bouzguarou, Zoubaïer Yahyaoui, Mourad Okbi, Tamim El Hzami and Wassim Ben Fadhloun.

That of Wissem Letaief is made up of Dr Chafik Jarraya, Ammar Ksiksi, Mannoubi Troudi, Selim Khedhr, Rabii Khouja, Ennouri Kantaoui, Tarek Brahmi, Zied Massoudi, Khamis Hamzaoui, Rim Bejaoui and Abdelhamid Amira.

The three candidates submitted their files at the headquarters of the Tunisian Football Federation on Saturday February 17, 2024 in order to compete in the elections of the new federal office, scheduled for Saturday, March 9.
