The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) announced today, on June 14, 2024, the appointment of Faouzi Benzarti as a new national coach, taking effect from July 1, 2024.
Currently coach of the African club, Benzarti will bring his experience to the technical management of the national team, assisted by former international Imed Ben Younes.
This decision comes while Faouzi Benzarti had recently been appointed to the head of the African club, a position he has held since May 12, 2024. His career included several mandates passed as a national coach, notably interim in March 1994, as well as from November 2009 to June 2010 and from July to October 2018.
In addition to this appointment, the Federal Office also appointed Skander Kasri to direct the national technical direction as of July 1, thus strengthening the technical staff of the FTF.
