Death of Mohsen Habacha, a legendary figure in Star and Tunisian football

The Sports Star of the Sahel announced with great sadness, this Saturday, January 4, 2025, the death of Mohsen Habacha, a legendary figure of the Tunisian club and football. Former player, coach and key actor in the history of national sport, Mohsen Habbacha died at the age of 83, after recently suffering from health problems.

Born in 1942, Mohsen Habacha began his career in the 1960s as a defender in the Sports Star of the Sahel, a club with which he has marked many generations. He also wore the colors of the national team, embodying the values of discipline, commitment and love of the game.

Beyond his role as a player, Habacha contributed to the boom in Tunisian football by becoming a coach, transmitting his knowledge and experience to young talents.
