The Tunisian selection is preparing to challenge Mali in the round of 16 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations. On the eve of this decisive meeting, the anticipated starting lineup for the Eagles of Carthage is becoming clearer.

Tunisia faces Mali on Saturday evening at the Mohamed V stadium in Casablanca for a place in the quarter-finals of CAN 2025. Kick-off is set for 8:00 p.m. A few hours before the match, the probable composition of the Tunisian selection begins to take shape.

A balanced eleven for a match at stake

According to the latest indications, the Tunisian coach should line up Aymen Dahmene in goal. The defensive line would consist of Ali Abdi, Montassar Talbi, Dylan Bronn and Yan Valery. In midfield, Ellyes Skhiri would occupy a central role, supported by Ferjani Sassi and Hannibal Mejbri.

On the offensive side, Elias Achouri and Sébastien Tounekti should liven up the corridors, while Hazem Mastouri is expected to lead the Tunisian attack.

A round of 16 under high tension

The match will be played at the Mohamed V stadium in Casablanca and will be refereed by South African Tom Abongile. Faced with an opponent renowned for its physical strength, the Carthage Eagles will have to demonstrate discipline and efficiency to hope to continue their journey in the competition.

This round of 16 represents a turning point for the Tunisian selection in this CAN 2025. Qualification would allow the Carthage Eagles to regain positive momentum and strengthen their continental ambitions.
