The African Football Confederation (CAF) communicated this Thursday, the official interclub competition calendar for the 2025-2026 season, including the Champions League and the Confederation Cup. This new season will start next September with the preliminary towers.
The CAF also announced an exceptional extension of the club engagement period, postponed on July 31, 2025, instead of June 30 initially planned. This decision takes into account the late start of competitions, scheduled for the month of September.
Detailed calendar of interclub CAF 2025-2026 competitions
Preliminary towers:
- 1st round: go from September 19 to 21, return from September 26 to 28
- 2nd round: Go from October 17 to 19, return from October 24 to 26
Group phase:
- 1st day: from November 21 to 23
- 2nd day: from November 28 to 30
- 3rd day: from December 23 to 25
- 4th day: from January 31 to February 1, 2026
- 5th day: from February 6 to 8
- 6th day: from February 13 to 15
Direct elimination phase:
- Quarter -finals: go from March 13 to 15, return from March 20 to 22
- Semi-finals: go from April 10 to 12, return from April 17 to 19
- Final: between May 8 and 24, 2026 (specific dates to be determined)
