The Tunisian Olympic vice -champion Khalil Jendoubi won the -58 kg bronze medal during the Taekwondo World Championship which took place in Guadalajara in Mexico.
The Tunisian has eliminated Moldavian Sergei Oskov, Birtannin Mohamed Nour and Iranian Lotfi Hussein before climbing in the semi-finals.
Yesterday, in the semi-finals, he was unfortunately beaten by the South Korean Jun Jun, but still won a second bronze medal for Tunisia during these Worlds after that won Thursday by Firas Kattoussi in the category of -75 kg.
Firas Kattoussi (5th in the Olympic and 4th world ranking) won the bronze medal last Thursday after being beaten, in the semi-finals by the Brazilian Edival Pontes.
Recall that Khalil Jendoubi, silver medalist at the last Tokyo Olympic Games, became 1st in the Taekwondo Olympic ranking in his category (-58 kg) following his recent international performances.
