Aziz Dougaz, 231st ATP, could not pass the 1st round of the Australian Open. It was beaten today by the Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (65th) in four sets (6-3, 4-6, 6-7, 3-6).
Coming from qualifications Tunisian tennis player Aziz Dougaz, did not resist a stronger opponent than him. And yet, Aziz Dougaz had started his match well by winning the first set (6-3).
He yields the second set to his opponent (4-6), but in the third set Aziz Dougaz is an equal game with Yoshihito Nishioka before giving in to the tie-break (6-7). In the fourth set, the Tunisian does not find the resources necessary to destabilize the Japanese and bows 3-6.
Recall thatziz Dougaz qualified in the final table of the Australian Open after having successfully passed the capacity of qualifying by winning its three duels against Dutch Jesper of Jong (111st), in the Lebanese Benjamin Hassan (222nd), and Croatian Borna Gojo (446th).
