In the running for the title of best swimmer of the year 2023, the world champion and Olympique Tunisien Ahmed Ayoub Hafnaoui was preceded by the Chinese Qin Haiyang who won the title in view of his performances in 2023.
As a reminder, Hafnaoui was in the race with the French Léon Marchand and the Chinese Qin Haiyang.
The Tunisian was crowned world champion of 800m NL and 1500m NL, last July in Fukuoka (Japan), in addition to a silver medal in 400m NL.
In girls, the title of best swimmer 2023 returned to the Australian Kaylee McKeown.
