The Tunisian tennis player, 230th in the ATP classification, was beaten, today, by Croatian Dino Prizmic (178th) in two sets (3-6, 4-6) and thus left the Australian Open by the small door by reaching the 3rd round of qualifications.
In the 1st qualifying round, Aziz Dougaz eliminated Argentinian Facundo Bagnis (240th) in two sets (7-6, 6-3). In the second round, he abttu English Ryan Peniston, 197th world player, in two sets (6-3, 6-2).
