The Tunisian launcher Yassine Guennichi distinguished himself at the Paris Grand Prix of Para-Athletics by winning the silver medal with a weight throw, once again confirming the competitiveness of Tunisia on the International Handisport scene.
The Tunisian para-athlete Yassine Guennichi won the silver medal on Monday on a weight launch (category F35/36) during the Paris Handisport Athletics Grand Prix, which is held until June 4.
With a launch measured at 15.17 meters, Guennichi ranked second, behind the Argentinian Emanuel Hernán, author of a jet at 15.91 meters. The Uzbek Ogabek Ergashev completed the podium with a performance of 6.79 meters.
Tunisia is also represented by the Paralympic champion Raoua Tlili, engaged in the weight throwing and disc events (category F41).
