After his third success in Charleston, last night, Ons Jabeur was in the semi-finals. Tonight, from 6:00 p.m. (HT), she faces Russian Daria Kasatkina, 8th in the WTA ranking. The two players know each other well for having clashed six times in the past.

The Tunisian leads four victories for two. She notably defeated her opponent of the day in the final of the Birmingham tournament in June 2021 when she lost the final of the Moscow tournament in 2018.

Their last confrontation dates back to May 2022 during the semi-final of the Rome tournament which had seen Ons Jabeur winning in three sets (6-4, 1-6, 7-5).

Telery head n ° 3 of the main draw, Ons Jabeur started the tournament by beating the Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko (77th) in the second round in two sets (6-3, 6-3). She then eliminated the American Caroline Dolehide by winning in two sets (6-3, 7-5) then the Russian Anna Kalinskaya in two sets (6-0,4-1).

If Ons Jabeur qualifies, she will reach her eleventh final in the WTA circuit for three titles won, in Birmingham in 2021, in Madrid and Berlin in 2022.

At the same time, the Tunisian lost seven finals including Charleston, Rome, Wimbledon and the US Open in the year 2022 alone.
