Aryna Sabalenka is currently 5th with 4,340 points behind the Polish IGA Swiatek (1st with 11,025 points), the Tunisian Ons Jabeur (2nd / 5140 points), the American Jessica Pegula (3rd / 5000 points) and the French Caroline Garcia (4th / 4415 points).
By reaching Mellbourne’s final that she will play next Saturday against the Kazakhe Elena Rybakina (25th), the Belarusian pocketed 1060 points which allow her to exceed everyone and settle in 2nd position, thus relegating Ons Jabeur (+70 points) in 3rd place in the world.
