The Tunisian paralympic athlete Amenunlah Tissaoui won, Saturday September 7, 2024, the gold medal of 1500 meters category T38, during the athletics competitions of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
With an impressive time of 4: 12.91, Tissaoui has outlined his opponents, notably the Canadian Nate Riech, silver medalist with a time of 4: 13.12, and the Australian Reece Langdon, who completed the podium with 4: 13.13. This success is added to its bronze medal obtained on the 400 meters in the T37 category.
Tunisia thus displays a total of 10 medals in these games (4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3 bronze medals)
Raoua Tlili won two gold medals in category F41 of the weight throw and in the F41 category of the disc launch. Maroua Brahmi also won the gold medal at the Massue throw (F32), and Amenunlah Tissaoui at 1500 meters Category T38.
Ahmed Ben Moslah won the silver medal in weight throwing (F37). The world champion Walid Katila won the silver medal in the 100 -meter T34 final while Rouay Jebabli won the 1500 m silver medal (T12 category).
Rouay Jebabli also won the bronze medal at 400 m (T12) just like Amanallah Tissaoui at 400m T37 and Raja Jebali at weight throwing (F40)
