The Tunisian swimmer Ahmed Jaouadi finished the qualifications of the 1500 meter freestyle in first position in his series, thus qualifying for the final, within the framework of the 2024 Olympic Games.
Jaouadi finished qualifying with a time of 14 minutes, 44 seconds and 20 hundredths, ranking third in the general qualifications. He will participate tomorrow evening, Sunday, in the final of the 1500 meter freestyle.
It should be noted that Jaouadi was close to winning bronze at the 800 meter freestyle, finishing in fourth place. The young Tunisian will seek to catch up in the rest of the Olympic events, especially since his chances of a medal seem promising.
