The Grand Prix of Tunis of Para-Athletics ended yesterday with the 3rd and last day in which the Tunisian athletes distinguished themselves by winning 9 new medals which are added to the 23 wrecks during the first two days.
With a total of 34 medals (16 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze) Tunisia ends the competition at the top of the podium in front of Iraq and its 15 medals (8 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze), Uzbekistan (14 medals), Morocco (11 medals) and Saudi Arabia (8 medals).
Tunisians won 6 gold medals yesterday. Fadhila Naffti at the weight throwing (F54), Raouaa Tlili at the disc throw (F41), Mohamed Farhat Chida in long jump and 400m (T38), Sonia Mansour at 400m (T38) and Wajdi Boukhili at 5000m (T12).
The money is also returned to Hatem Nasrallah at 5000m (T12), Mabrouka Hmida at the weight throw (F54) and Fethia Amaimia at the disc throw (F41). Amir Soltani (F11) and Maroua Brahmi (F32) were satisfied with bronze.
Fifteen countries have participated in this game, including Tunisia, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, Angola, Qatar, Algeria, Turkey, France, Guinea, Romania and Spain.
