27 Tunisian athletes looking for the Grail in Paris

The Olympic Games start this Friday, July 26 in Paris on Friday, July 26. The kick -off of the world’s largest sporting event, which will take place until August 11, will keep the whole planet in suspense. They will be 27 athletes to defend the colors of Tunisia with their hopes of medals.

Athletics size the lion’s share with 5 medals (2 in gold, 2 in silver and 1 in bronze), followed by swimming (3 in gold and 1 in bronze), taekwondo (1 in silver and 1 in bronze), boxing (2 in bronze), and finally fencing (1n bronze) and the struggle (1 in bronze).

In Paris, the hopes of medals are real in particular with the two taekwondoists Khalil Jendoubi, silver medalist in Tokyo, and Firas Gattoussi, bronze medalist at the World
2022. They will have the heavy task of making Ayoub Hafnaoui, gold medalist in Tokyo (400m freestyle)

Despite this absence, the Tunisian swimming will have a representative capable of carrying Tunisian hopes in the person of Ahmed Jaouadi or the athlete Mohamed Jhinaoui who will be aligned on the 3,000 m steeple.
