The organizing committee of the FIFA 2025 Arabic Cup made public the program for the first round of the tournament, scheduled from December 1 to 18 in Qatar. The Carthage Eagles are now experiencing their first opponents and their match dates, with the aim of crossing the group phase and preparing for the next African Cup of Nations.
Tunisia will start its campaign on December 1:
- December 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.: Tunisia – Syria winner – South Sudan
- December 4, 2025 at 3.30 p.m.: Tunisia – Palestine winner – Libya
- December 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.: Tunisia – Qatar
The first two of each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, scheduled for December 11 and 12, before the semi-finals on December 15 and the final scheduled for December 18.
In the event of qualification, Tunisia will face one of the nations from group B, composed of Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and qualified of Somalia – Oman and Comoros – Yemen confrontations.
Objective: prepare for CAN
This tournament will also serve as preparation for the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025), which will take place from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026. Tunisia will thus be able to test its strengths, adjust its strategies and give playing time to its key elements before the continental meeting.
