The National Institute of Meteorology announces for this Sunday, August 17, a variable sky with passenger clouds throughout the country. In the afternoon, these clouds will become more dense in the North and the Eastern regions. Stormy cells will then be able to form and give sometimes abundant rains. In places, it is not excluded that hail accompanies these showers.
The wind will blow from the west over the north and the center, and from the East to the South. It will generally remain moderate, but will strengthen near the northern coast and then in the Gulf of Gabès at the end of the day. During thunderstorms, gusts will be able to exceed 70 km/h.
The sea will be restless to the north, sometimes very agitated. On the other coasts, it will remain little agitated before becoming agitated in the Gulf of Gabès.
Maximum temperatures will vary between 29 and 35 ° C in coastal regions and heights. Inside the country, they will reach 36 to 40 ° C.
