Tunisia: the British market at the top of the nights in Sousse

The regional tourism delegate in Sousse, Mohamed Boujderia, said that the number of tourists arriving in the tourist area of Sousse Kantaoui, during the period from January 1 to July 31, 2025, reached 648,808 tourists, thus recording an increase of 13.3 % compared to the same period of the previous year.

The number of nights also experienced an increase of 9.13 % compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 2,860,467 nights.

He added that the British market occupied the first place in terms of number of nights, with 588,040 nights, an increase of 4.49 % compared to the previous year.

The Tunisian market comes second with 530,159 nights, an increase of 5.8 %, followed by the Algerian market with 296,554 nights, recording an increase of 4.17 %. Then come the German market with 291,237 nights, then the Polish market with 234,480 nights, up 5.3 %.

Tourist indicators relating to the number of visitors in the tourist area of Sousse Kantaoui have also experienced a significant increase, the Tunisian market occupying first place with 245,567 customers, an increase of 11.9 % compared to the previous year.

The Algerian market occupies second place, with an increase of 17.3 % of the number of visitors, totaling 82,083 arrivals, followed by the British market with 80,906 tourists, an increase of 5.49 %.
