Tunisia: telluric shock recorded in the governorate of Béja

The National Institute of Meteorology (INM) recorded a telluric shock this Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in the region of El Maâgoula, located in the governorate of Béja.

The shock of a magnitude of 2.4 on the Richter scale was recorded today at 12:10 pm and was felt by the inhabitants of the region, underlines the INM.

The INM specifies that the first analyzes carried out by its seismological stations made it possible to locate the epicenter of the shock at 36.68 degrees of latitude and 9.16 degrees of longitude.
