In a declaration published on her Facebook page, MP Fatma MSEDDI said that incidents that have occurred today at the Sfax railway station is “neither a fight nor chance”, but “an act of planned sabotage aiming at a strategic public infrastructure”. She calls for urgent measures in the face of what she describes as a threat to national security.

Fatma Mseddi accuses

According to MSEDDI, the Sfax central station was devastated before the eyes of citizens without immediate intervention by the police as certain videos attest, according to her. Station employees were even alerted, an hour before the arrival of the crowd, from the existence of a sabotage plan. The deputy believes that leaving such a vital site without protection constitutes “a serious flaw”.

In his declaration, Fatma MSEDDI denounces negligence when vital infrastructure is “abandoned”.

She claims that the violence observed was not spontaneous but “an integral part of a larger plan of destabilization of Sfax”, aimed at transforming the region into “home of social and security pressures”.

Today, we must tell the truth …

MP Fatma MSEDDI requests the opening of a serious investigation into the causes of sabotage and the sanction of any person who failed or covered these facts; The installation of permanent safety units for rail transport and the generalization of surveillance cameras.

It also requests information from public opinion on real plans that aim for Sfax, and more broadly the country, through the “organized chaos strategy”.

Sfax has always been the heart of the national economy. Today, any attempt to transform it into a chaos zone or an illegal installation must break against the solidity of the state and the determination of its inhabitants.
