The National Guard units operating in the delegations of Ghardimaou and Tabarka, under the governorate of Jendouba, intercepted three smuggling operations relating to goods of unknown origin, of total value estimated at 120,000 dinars.
In a statement published this Sunday, the General Directorate of the National Guard said that seized goods included in particular used car engines, transported aboard three vehicles and not having the original certificates required by the regulations.
The authorities have seized the goods as well as the means of transport involved, and initiated the legal procedures in force against offenders.
The National Guard also calls on citizens to point out any suspicious activity that can harm the national economy, by contacting the Green Number 71 860 135.
