Three people died and nine others were injured in a serious road accident, which occurred this Tuesday, November 15 in the afternoon, at the road connecting Sbeitla (governorate of Kasserine) and Mghila (governorate of Sidi Bouzid).
In a statement to the TAP agency, the regional director of civil protection in Kasserine, Youssef al-Afi that four injured were transferred to the Kasserine regional hospital, three of which are in critical condition.
The state of health of the fourth injured, a child, is stationary, while the other injured received the necessary care at the local hospital in Sbeitla.
The accident was caused by a collision between a “rental” public transport car and an ambulance belonging to public health, due to an overtaking prohibited by the driver of the car “rental”, reports a security source.
