After the case of the municipal pound of El Mdhila, the governor of Gafsa, Slim Frouja, decided to file two new complaints.
This Friday, December 13, two complaints were filed with the public prosecutor of the Gafsa court of first instance, reports Mosaique FM.
The first complaint concerns suspicion of administrative corruption in an administration. Following it, an official was placed in pre-trial detention.
The second complaint is linked to accusations of falsification of personal data in civil status registers with a view to obtaining industrial advantages.
On Wednesday, December 11, a complaint was filed by the Governor of Gafsa, with the public prosecutor on the sidelines of an unexpected visit to the municipal pound of El Mdhila, where he noted serious irregularities, including a lack of equipment and spare parts for certain machines, as well as negligent management and a lack of surveillance within the deposit.
Since then, the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the Gafsa Court of First Instance has ordered the opening of a judicial inquiry.
