During a working meeting devoted to the development of the governorate of Gafsa and the revival of phosphate production, held this Monday, April 13 at the Kasbah, under the chairmanship of the head of government, Habib Essid and in the presence of members of the Assembly of the People from the Region, six decisions were taken in this context.
These decisions were published this Tuesday, April 14 on the Facebook page of the Presidency of the Government.
Continuation of the examination of development problems in the GAFSA governorate between the government and the members of the ARP from the region.
A government delegation will be responsible for making visits to the governorate during this month in order to identify development problems and deepen their exam to find practical solutions.
A limited ministerial council will be devoted to the governorate over the month of May.
Development of a project for the treatment of social situations in the region, in collaboration with the members of the ARP and the components of civil society in the region.
Conduct audit on the management methods of the Gafsa phosphates company (CPG) and its subsidiaries, with the aim of supporting the rules of good governance.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Gafsa Phosphates Company must reside at the company’s headquarters, in order to follow his activity very closely.
Recall that the CPG of the CPG is Mr. Romdhane Souid which was appointed according to a decision of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines, in December 2014.
