The seismic surveillance stations of the National Institute of Meteorology recorded a telluric shock, yesterday Wednesday, September 18 at 8:29 p.m. (local time), of a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter was located at 35.74 ° latitude and 10.67 ° longitude, northeast of Ouardanine in the governorate of Monastir. Residents of the region felt this shock, according to a press release from the Institute.
This is the second shield recorded yesterday, the seismic stations of INM having announced that a telluric shock took place at 1:05 am (local time), a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale about 11 km west of the city of El Krib, in the governorate of Siliana.
