A medical and paramedical team from the Jendouba regional hospital marked a major advance in the field of oncological surgery by carrying out an unprecedented surgery in the region.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, specialists have managed to remove a malignant tumor from the face of a patient and rebuild his facial tissues using skin transplants taken from his chest and shoulders.
The intervention, led by oncologists and aesthetic surgeons in collaboration with a paramedical team, required meticulous coordination and high -level expertise.
The ministry stressed that this feat reflects the exceptional skills of the nursing staff, capable of dealing with cases of such complexity.
