An event, called Startup Tunisia and organized by Tunisia Place de Marché (TPM), will soon take place on three tours (May, September and November) in four regions of Tunisia during the year 2015.
“I undertake in my region”: 9 governorates, 14 cities and more than 85 municipalities concerned
The aim is to popularize the culture of “entrepreneurship in my region”, mainly with entrepreneurs and young projects.
More than 50 players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem will meet to sponsor this event extending from 9 governorates, 14 cities and more than 85 municipalities.
From Sousse to Tozeur via Siliana
The first tour will take place from May 19 to 21 in Sousse, Gabes and Médenine.
Various activities will be organized during this event: exhibition spaces, advice and coaching, workshops and round tables.
Startup Tunisia also offers young entrepreneurs to make themselves known and to present their project through the online platform Thniti (www.thniti.org), allowing the project to be oriented to a possible partner that will provide services (support, financing, etc.) as needed.
The second tour will be organized from September 29 to October 1 in Béja, KEF and Siliana. As for the last, it will take place in Sidi Bouzid, Gafsa and Tozeur from November 26 to 28.
The program
Exhibition spaces: more than 25 exhibitors from the capital and regions will be by the appointment with exhibition stands which will be set up in each place of organization of the show.
Village Consulting and Coaching: the appointment of project leaders and their coaches. In addition to coaching and advice, the 20 best business creation ideas offered by project leaders by region, will be pre-selected and coached, before the date of the show via Skype, by the coaching committee chaired by Ms. Afifa Ghamgui.
Entrepreneur Trophies: A juries committee composed by 3 experts and business leaders in each region, will enhance the best ideas and allocate 3 trophies from the entrepreneur for the benefit of candidates.
Workshop and round tables: experts or business leaders will animate subjects around a round table that concerns the daily life of an entrepreneur or a young project leader. The organization of this event will be the subject of the involvement of regional associations and young people in order to optimize the mobilization of participants in the regions.
Village Thniti by QFF: A space within the exhibition hall in each city, will be set up with 4 connected tablets to allow visitors to register on the online platform on www.thniti.org, which will take care of the projects aspiring to become the reference of young Tunisians in terms of entrepreneurship.
