The heights of Ghardimaou, in the governorate of Jendouba, knew this Tuesday morning, December 24, 2024, the first snowfall.
The Ghardimaou delegate, who is also the chairman of the local disaster management commission, confirmed that the thickness of the snow is around 4 cm and that traffic on the roads leading to Ain Soltane and Errahim remains normal and without interruption.
He added that the local commission, with all its components, is in permanent meeting, monitors the situation and is on alert, ready to intervene in an emergency.
Note that snow has also appeared on the heights of the north and center-west, notably in Kesra, Makthar, Thala, Sakiet Sidi Youssef, and Haidra.
